PLEDGE Privacy Policy
PLEDGE is a personal charity-pledge tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use PLEDGE and how it is used.
Information we process
When you create or use an account, PLEDGE may process your email address and authentication information provided through email/password, Google, or Apple sign-in. The app also stores information you choose to enter, including annual pledge amounts, giving percentages, income entries, donation records, standing orders, dates, recipients or descriptions, categories, currencies, and calculated currency-conversion values.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate your account, save and synchronize your PLEDGE data, calculate pledge progress and income-based giving amounts, display history and summaries, support multiple currencies, and provide backup and restore features.
Service providers
PLEDGE uses Supabase for authentication and cloud data storage. Google and Apple may process information when you choose their sign-in services, subject to their own privacy policies. For currency conversion, PLEDGE requests exchange-rate information from the Frankfurter API; the financial entries themselves are not intentionally sent to that service as part of the exchange-rate request.
Payments
The current version of PLEDGE is a tracking application and does not itself process charitable payments or store payment-card details.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers as necessary to operate the app, or disclosed where required by applicable law.
Data retention and deletion
Your pledge-tracking data is retained while associated with your account unless you delete it. The app's “Delete all data” feature deletes the tracked pledge data associated with the active pledge. To request deletion of your account and associated authentication data, contact us at the email below.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, so you should also protect access to your account and devices.
Your choices
You can edit or delete individual records in the app, export a backup, restore data from a backup, or delete your tracked pledge data from Settings. You may also contact us regarding access, correction, or deletion requests.
Children
PLEDGE is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are made.
